Offshore wind farm comprising up to 288 wind turbines and associated offshore electrical infrastructure, with an installed generating capacity of up to 1200MW.

Located within the Greater Wash strategic area off the east coast of England. Approx 33km off the coast of Lincolnshire and 46km off the coast of North Norfolk.

What happens next

An application for the above project was received by the IPC from Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Limited on 31 January 2012.

The IPC has 28 days from the day after the date of receipt to review the application and decide whether or not we can accept it. This decision should be made by Wednesday 29 February 2012.

If the application is accepted, we will:

  • Publish the date from which you will be able to register to put your case on the application
  • Publish the date on which registration will close.

If the application is not accepted, we will:

  • Publish the decision letter and reasons why it hasn’t been accepted
