About this project
The proposed development comprises the construction and operation of 28 wind turbine generators of up to 145 metres in height and other infrastructure integral to the construction and/or operation of the wind farm. The wind farm will have an installed capacity of between 56 and 84 megawatts. A full list of the works comprised in the proposed wind farm can be found at Schedule 1 of the draft Development Consent Order.Additional Note: The developer has also proposed a smaller wind farm within the Brechfa forest known as Brechfa east. As the proposal is below the threshold for a nationally significant infrastructure project, the application will be submitted to the local authority.
