About this project
The nationally significant infrastructure project is a quay of solid construction on the south bank of the River Humber together with an ecological compensation scheme comprising both temporary and permanent habitat creation on the opposite bank. Associated development includes dredging and land reclamation, onshore facilities for the manufacture, assembly and storage of marine energy installation components. Ancillary matters include compulsory purchase of land, harbour regulation and the diversion of two footpaths.Recent activity
What happens next
The preliminary meeting will be held on Thursday 24 May 2012. Invitations to this meeting have been sent to interested parties.
The preliminary meeting is held in public and concerns procedural matters only. It is not essential to attend the preliminary meeting; interested parties will be sent details of how to take further part in the examination in any event.
The procedural decision, setting the timetable for the examination including deadlines for receipt of detailed written representations and for comments on others’ representations, will be made after the preliminary meeting and will be published on the project page. It will also be available on request from ablemarineenergypark@infrastructure.gsi.gov.uk and our helpline: 0303 444 5000.
